This year's reunion will be held on July 22, at King's and the graduating class being honored will be the members of the class of 1956. Other classes being invited are those whose years end in 1 and 6; 1961, 1966, 1971, ...etc., but all are invited. Final arrangements will be posted soon and letters will be sent out by early April. If you haven't made plans for the summer yet, keep this week-end in mind.
LMCS class representatives met last Thursday and folded, stuffed, stamped
and sent the letters to be sent to their classmates, informing them of the
upcoming LMCS reunion this summer. Particulars of the day's events can be
found on the "Photos" site, under the "Alumni Papers" album.
This year, the members of graduating classes that end in either 1 or 6 will be
receiving these letters. Also, all alumni who have graduated from Livingston
Manor Central School over fifty years ago, at least those that we can find,
will also receive the invitation. This year, besides the annual dinner in the
evening, an afternoon luncheon will be held at Lanza'a, at Shandelee, for
those who have achieved this noteworthy plateau. If you are in this catagory,
or know someone who is, and have not received the invitations, please let us
know so that we may include them on our mailing list. For the past few years,
this luncheon has proved to be a popular, informal gathering. We recommend
that class members co-ordinate amongst themselves on which gathering they
attend.
Those LMCS alumni who are not in any of the above groups, but wish to attend,
the forms which include the information and response letters, can be found as
noted above, with contact addresses on the letterheads. Respond early for this
is a popular event, and though King's Catering has a large capacity, there are
seating limitations.
